Personality: A bad guy trying to go good. Kincaid spent years as a vicious, hardcore wrestler. After that, he was one of the premiere Canadian technical wrestlers. No matter his style, he prided himself on being a firebrand wherever he went. In UKWF, at first, he tried to turn over a new leaf but the lure of money and title gold was too much for him to ignore. After serving a wellness suspension and driving away a lot of his friends in the locker room he’s unsure of his place in the UKWF of 2017. He wants to earn the respect of the audience back and he’s willing to crawl up from the bottom to prove himself again.
Alignment:
Face
Allies (if any):
None
Rivals (if any):
Cross Recoba: His first real rivalry in UKWF with with fellow new arrival Cross Recoba. The two men fought a brutal little rivalry near the end of 2016, culminating in a show stealing match at Challenge of Champions, Night 2. It’s a neverending battle to Kincaid as Cross bothers him deep down to his bones. If they find themselves in the same company, Kincaid is going to get his hackles up about it.
Valkyrie: It was Kincaid's shocking betrayal of Valkyrie that led to his transformation into The Bullet King. After winning the North Sea Championship due to interference from his wife, he swore for weeks that he had no idea she would involve herself in the match. He swore to his former ally that he would defend the belt against her honestly. And then, shockingly, he revealed his true intentions at the UKWF anniversary show. The two locked horns in early 2017 in a vicious rivalry with Kincaid constantly just escaping by the skin of his teeth. After returning from suspension, Kincaid swears he’s trying to turn himself back around. Valkyrie is unlikely to believe him.
Strengths (2 or more):
Hybrid Wrestler: One of the things that makes Kincaid so difficult for opponents to deal with is how much he mixes up his offense. To look at him, with his wild beard and unkempt hair, you might assume he’s some unthinking caveman. The truth is, Kincaid mixes up his wrestling style well. He’s as comfortable brawling as he is soaring through the air.
Charisma: There’s a truth about Alex Kincaid that he’s never understood: He draws people to him. If you look at his career, where he’s always had followers or managers it’s something he should have figured out but he’s never managed to do so. When he’s on the side of the fans, they can’t help but get behind him. He leans on them hard, and the crowd really does drive him on in those crucial moments. When the crowd goes wild, his energy can seem limitless.
Momentum Shifting: In his return to UKWF in 2017, Kincaid has added a few tiny new wrinkles to his game and brought back some old favorites. Basically, he now has two big moves he can use to suddenly take control of a match when things are at their absolute worst. When he seems like he’s going to end up being put away he can suddenly take the momentum back with a flying lariat, flying into the Straight Shooter or just by fighting his way up from the bottom. He’s hard to take down with sustained bouts of offense, ironically falling most often to out of nowhere reversals of fortune by his opponents.
Weaknesses (2 or more):
Knee Injuries: Kincaids Achilles Heel has always been his left knee. Years and years of wear and tear have made it a common point of attack by other wrestlers. Efforts to change up his offensive style have done a bit to fight it, but it's sort of inherent in wrestling. His biggest moves – his splash, fireman’s carry slam and half crab – require a strong base on his knee. If he can't balance his weight, he can't hit them. His frog splash, is an all or nothing attack. Either he wins, or the damage to his knees make it nearly impossible for him to get the advantage back.
The Fans: After winning the North Sea Championship at New Years Evolution, Kincaid spent several months in a rivalry with Valkyrie over the title. It brought out the worst of him. After being suspended, Kincaid realized the error of his ways and is now trying to regain his place as one of the top fan favorites of the company. The downside to this is that he’s willing to do anything to get the fans on his side again. This means he’ll take stupid risks - whether flying over the top rope on suicidal dives or exchanging blows with bigger opponents he cannot possibly defeat - in the hopes that it’ll make the people love him again. It can also mean that when he’s in there with a bigger fan favorite, he can seem a little put off by the crowd turning on him. It’s self destructive, ultimately, but it’s probably the only chance he has to turn his career around.
Preferred Match Type(s): Iron Man
Least Favourite Match Type(s): Ladder matches. He won his first UKWF title in one, it probably took years off his career and he never wants to do it again.
Wrestling Style: Kincaid concentrates on weakening his opponent with a lot of attacks to their legs, softening them up with shinbreakers, dragon screws and figure four leglocks. After that, once his opponent is slowed, he turns into a human cannonball. He gets himself moving, crashing into them with big lariats, splashes and dropkicks. His style is reliant on moving. If he’s locked down to the mat he’s far less useful. His major weaknesses are probably a lack of sheer power and a relatively uncreative striking game, but that’s all stuff he can try and overcome with sheer, desperate risk taking.
Finisher(s) (max. 2 + desperation/big match finisher):
From On High!: Frog Splash/Frog Splash style crossbody.
The Straight Shooter: Half Boston Crab. Often off a flying bodyscissor or a Lance Storm style roll from a charging opponent
Signature Moves (at least 1):
The Red River Crossing: Fireman’s Carry Michinoku Driver
The Flying Lariat: Running, jumping, seated lariat. Often sets up From On High!
Tope Con Hilo: Saved for big matches, but this is a wildly reckless front flip dive over the top ropes.
Comeback Sequence: Okay, so not a MOVE really but it’s how he tends to make his comeback. Kincaid will hit a big clothesline, then another, then whip an opponent into the corner to hit a big stinger splash before whipping them off the ropes and hitting them with a big flying lariat.

Biography (extended background on your character): Alex Kincaid was born in the just subartic mining town of Bearing, Alberta. It was a rough place to grow up, a blue collar mining town. His father, Dorian, ran the town's biggest mining operation. He was a profit driven man who made most of the towns workers grossly unsafe. Needless to say, that didn't make Alex popular. He grew up fighting for respect every day. His father had no time for him, and he had no friends in the town. He was caught in the middle of two worlds and pretty much resigned himself to living a brutal, conflict filled life.
Somewhere in his teenage years he made the long trek down to Calgary to watch his first wrestling show. It was there he watched British import Steve Llewellyn and his three sons compete and instantly fell in love with wrestling. It was all he wanted, all he could think about, and the first chance he got he left Bearing to head down and train with the Lewellyn family. He would spend the next few years wrestling all over Canada and the Northeast US establishing himself as a premiere technical wrestler. But he never achieved the success he thought he should have achieved. He got bitter, he got angry, and he spent years trying to break down the wrestling business with his loyal Following - including a young wrestler who would become his future wife, Alyssa.
He made his return to UKWF in late 2016, getting a chance to establish himself in the UK scene he's always admired. His first rivalry was with Cross Recoba. Two new, hungry talents fighting as hard as they could to make waves. They eventually clashed in a show stealing match in the last shows of 2016. A few weeks later, Kincaid was rewarded with an opportunity to become the first ever North Sea Champion. He triumphed over three other wrestlers in an absolute war to become the first ever champion - with a little help from his wife.
After claiming for weeks he didn’t know she would involve herself in the match, he revealed his true colors with a shocking assault on Valkyrie. The next show, he rechristened himself “The Bullet King” and vowed that he would become the franchise player of UKWF. The feud ran for months, and ultimately Kincaid would come out on top. But to do so, he sold himself out. He sold out his ideals and ruined his relationship with the fans. Eventually, his personal demons would overcome him and he would serve a month like suspension from the company. Now, he claims to have seen the error of his ways and he wants to return to the fans good graces. Whether or not he can pull it off, we’ll see.
