“If there’s one thing Night Train reminds me of, it’s my past life,” Gaia Galanos uttered as she stared at the locker room floor. The camera had to focus in on Gaia's side profile. Fresh lacerations adorned her tense, perspiring dorsal muscles as she sat there with that signature blood-stained towel over her right shoulder. “For the past few months, I have had to keep myself busy to keep my mind off of the past. Off of what I had to do to you, Night Train, because of what you were trying to do to my career as a result of your recklessness.”
A shake of the head told the story. She was done with Night Train. “At UKWF’s SummerFest, I am putting an end to this, and, when you lose, not if, you’re going to move on with your career in UKWF and probably go on to become the best North Sea Champion UKWF will ever see.” Gaia turned on the bench to look at the camera. “That’s the thing about you, Night Train,” Gaia said with a reassuring nod, “you are just as good as advertised. You don’t just go out there and kick asses, you know how to bring the fans alive. Everyone loves you. And, you love them. Where you excel at being the most popular wrestler in UKWF, I am bar none the most dominant fighter this company has ever seen.” The large claim was sealed with a slight turn of the head which yielded us the ice cold gaze of The Event Horizon. “And, before anyone tries to dispute that,” she objected deliberately, “I have defeated up to this point some of the greatest names in this business. I don’t need to list names because my reputation precedes me, but I’m beyond all of this need to go on Twitter and banter up a storm business. I just step in the ring and yield results. Unfortunately for you, I don’t have to just be maintained by that ring to punish your sinful ass.”
Now, Gaia turned toward the camera, facing it dead-on. “I’m not fighting for anyone else anymore. I don’t carrying the weight of those fair-weather sheep in the seats.” Gaia pointed an accusatory index finger at the camera, “you do. And, you’re going to screw it up like you always do because you’ll never change. Where you’re content to be a circus act, I have evolved. I have found a cause to fight for, and it’s bigger than me. In a way, though, it is me.” A very small smile appeared on her features, “and they aren’t confining me to a measly 16-feet by 16-feet. That must be a nightmare for you because, while I don’t need all of those stupid weapons to dismantle you, I can suplex you all over Scarborough and you can,” Gaia halted her words abruptly as Grendel appeared through the door. Without another word, Gaia Galanos stood and left, leaving the lens to watch the swinging door.

Gaia Galanos sat against a steel chair in the very same locker room she had cut her last promo in. She attempted to sit against the back of the chair, but the moment the lacerations on her back touched the cold steel, she felt an acute pain shoot into her back. The only evidence of this was a very subtle wince on her face, but she had that blood-stained towel over her head to conceal her face. “Night Train,” she began again, looking to pick up from where she left off mere hours prior, “when I infamously turned on you and shocked the entire United Kingdom, I didn’t really know what I wanted. Honestly, I had no clue where I was going or what I would do without you as my tag team partner. But, I knew that when the time came, I would find my way.” “And, I have,” she said, glaring into the camera. “I destroyed anyone and everyone who believed they could stand against me in the ring while you sat at home nursing an injury. I built up an impressive resume that, one day, you took a look at and realized, if you challenged me, and somehow defeated me, you could ascend up the ranks of UKWF. That’s exactly why you showed up when you did. I should rightfully be the next challenger to the United Kingdom Championship.” Irritation was evident on her face. “James Kensington was more than happy to allow you to interfere where you didn’t belong because you presented some sort of hope that he wouldn’t have to give me what I want and what I deserve. Hell, he even believes that making this a match with no disqualifications will give you the advantage. On paper, given your experience in such matches, he’d be correct, but you are standing in the way of my ascension so I am going to put you down once and for all.” “But, you know, Night Train, I’m glad you decided you just couldn’t stay away because, for the past few months, The Order and I have been wearing you down for this moment. We have been preparing you for what will happen in about a week’s time. I will close the book of my past life by defeating you at your own game then I will open the next book where James Kensington will not be able to deny me what is rightfully mine.” Gaia Galanos stood up from her chair and took one last look at the camera lens before uttering, “now, more than ever, no one is safe.” The Event Horizon then vanished through the locker room door, leaving the dark, dingy gym behind.
