SISTER GRENDEL Wrestler Name: Grendel OberrungRing Name: Sister GrendelNickname(s): Magdalena's Pupil; the Scion of the End TimesGender: FemalePicbase: Saoirse RonanD. O. B.: July 27th, 1994Height: 5'4"Weight: 127lbsYears Pro: 0Accolades/Accomplishments: 0Hometown: Dettelbach, Bavaria
Personality (a brief description of your wrestler as a person and an athlete):Grendel is the most well-regarded acolyte amongst the Order of the Wilting Rose, and a personal liaison to Canoness Magdalena Waechter since shortly after her leader's first foreign venture. She holds Magdalena's word sacred, perhaps even above that of the Nameless One, and will do anything her superior asks of her, no matter how dangerous. Such affection does not extend to other members of the Order, whom Grendel tends to view as a form of internal competition, never acting openly disrespectful but displaying the stiff politeness of someone only tolerating their surroundings under duress. Against her foes within the ring and without, Grendel plays the 'Scrappy-Doo' role of this nefarious gang; she talks big and acts brave, but remains the Order's physical weak link and often fails to heed this. Though she suffers more openly - and loudly - than her superior, she has shades of the same pain tolerance, and when she happens to be the one with the upper hand, she aims to exceed her mistress on the sadism front.

Biography (extended background on your character):The story of Grendel Oberrung mirrors that of many other Sisters of the Wilting Rose: tithed to the Order before her birth through an unspeakable pact, she was taken from her parents before she was even a year old and raised under the cold, cruel gaze of the Sisters Superior until espousing the nihilistic ethos of the Order with every word and deed became second nature. For years, Grendel was simply one of the pack, not disappointing but not standing out from her peers in training. That would change with Magdalena Waechter's ascension to Canoness; from the day that Waechter delivered her first speech to the middle-years students, Grendel redoubled her efforts, spurred on by her unbidden feelings of lust toward the older woman. This proved successful, as Grendel was among the 'honour guard' that accompanied Waechter overseas to the United States, where her campaign of destruction began in Girl Power Wrestling.
While many memories of that time bring a smile to Grendel's face - like when her superior went to no little cost to free her from the corrupt justice system, or those fleeting occasions she was permitted to lay with the Canoness in mutual, silent contemplation - they ended on the most bitter of notes, with Magdalena's apparent death sending shockwaves through the Order. Grendel was forced to arrange the funeral details for the woman she loved, before abandoning the Order's Florida chapel and returning home.
Sometime later, Magdalena was mysteriously resurrected. Grendel could hardly believe it, though from afar she could see something was wrong, as her beloved Canoness associated with all-too-human devils, serving as a lapdog to vainglorious fools she would surely rend limb from limb if she had the chance. Cautious, Grendel chose to keep the Order away, despite the protests of younger Sisters, until Magdalena at last broke her shackles, split away from the accursed New Management, and reached out to the Order once more.
With Magdalena's enemies threatening to swamp her, Grendel has dutifully stepped forth onto the UKWF battlefield as her superior's shield. Of course, she did not do so alone, and spending so much time in the presence of her enigmatic 'partner' makes her constantly edgy, but for the Canoness Aeternum, she will endure...

THE SHARD Wrestler Name: (information missing)
Ring Name: The ShardNickname(s): Fracture of Fear; the Living Death that Walks; Tall, Dark and Facially ChallengedGender: Male (previously)Picbase: Prometheus from ArrowD. O. B.: (information missing)
Height: 6'11"Weight: 285 - 311lbs (varies according to lunar cycle) (citation needed)Years Pro: 0Accolades/Accomplishments: Is ostensibly a God among men. That's fairly impressive? A bit?Hometown: A Land Before Time And LightPersonality (a brief description of your wrestler as a person and an athlete):The Shard is neither a 'person' nor an 'athlete'. All behavioural assumptions based on those two ideas should be rejected up front to achieve a better understanding of this subject. The Shard is both more and less than human; a mute savage led around by the nose, who nevertheless looks down on others as if they were but ants beneath his boots. Still freshly awoken to this world, he demonstrates a moth-like attraction to anything new and unusual, typically ending with him breaking the object of his attention in what could be a fit of childlike possessiveness. An extreme form of tunnel vision limits the Shard's perceptions, and he will completely forget any opponent that slips out of sight, but be warned that any attempt to damage his body - successful or not - will not go unanswered.
Alignment: HeelWrestling Style: Imagine if Brock Lesnar and Jason Voorhees somehow made a baby. Now imagine something like that, but worse. Brute-force powerhouse that alternates movement between slow-paced walking and sudden bursts of speed that can outpace anyone else in the ring.
Singles Finisher(s) (1 + desperation finisher): +
An Empty Vessel (Shard lifts opponent slightly off their feet with a one-handed choke, draws back his free hand, then slams the heel of his palm against their chest, dead center. Pun intended.)
+
Ragdoll Physics (Less a desperation finisher, more a 'congratulations, you've made him angry' finisher. Taking hold of an opponent's leg at the calf and ankle, Shard will turn quickly while raising the leg over his shoulder, and use both his momentum and raw strength to throw the opponent overhead and face-first to the mat. Without waiting for them to stand up, he repeats the motion, this time making them land on their back. And it repeats, and repeats, and repeats ad infinitum until Shard is satisfied or the referee steps in.)
Singles Signature Moves (2): +
Tower of Babel (Alabama Slam variant - with the opponent held over his back, Shard will march to the nearest corner before slamming the opponent directly into the post.)
+
The Fall (Lifts opponent with a single-handed military press, and drops them into a rising knee to the solar plexus.)
Moveset: + Big Boot
+ Bionic Elbow
+ Back Toss
+ Stalling Vertical Suplex
+ Full Nelson Slam
+ Running Powerslam
+ Rope Flip Topé
+ Spinebuster (typical counter against diving opponents)
+ Deadlift Gutwrench Suplex
+ Grounded Curb Stomp
+ Diving Clothesline
+ Superplex to outside (w/ instant no-sell recovery)
Biography (extended background on your character):According to the ranting and raving of Magdalena Waechter, long before the gods of decadent human civilisation took form, there was but one living thing in the universe, a Nameless One who crafted the planets and the stars as we might assemble and arrange furniture for a spare room. Content with its peaceful isolation, the Nameless One spent untold millions of years perfecting the great cosmos around him, until he was surprisingly confronted by another entity - smaller, less majestic but clearly intelligent. The Nameless One did not know what to make of this stranger, or even what to call it, but the name would grow clear in the years to follow, as he was struck down, his essence buried deep under the soil and earth he had once toiled over...the deceiver.
Magdalena claims to have met, and possibly conversed with, the Nameless One over her time spent with the Order of the Wilting Rose; even to this day, the great wounded beast rests fitfully under all our feet, forever shrieking in rage and agony at the injustice of its surroundings. It would be best left there, rather than have to look at the world of today, with its bleached bones poking through the rot of its tissue, and colonized by vermin crafted in the image of the deceiver.
We should have let it sleep.
But a determined Magdalena Waechter knows no boundaries of sanity, and through unspeakable ceremonies, some twisted fractal, some...
shard of the Nameless One has been cut loose and forced within a human host. Bound tightly within thrice-sanctified protective gear to curtail its mutations, some would still choose to believe that this story bears no truth, and that the Order have simply found a tall bouncer to reinforce their ranks. Perhaps you will believe that, too. Especially when faced with the alternative - that the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
