Non-Title Exhibition: Ursula Areano v Skylynn Reed
Evanescence's "Weight of the World" is heard on the sound system. Ursula comes out from behind the curtain. When she gets to the ramp, raises her arms feeling the energy of the crowd. She walks down the length of the ramp, swinging both her hips and her arms.
Katherine Kensington: The following contest is our main event of the evening, and it is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from St. Louis, Missouri, USA, weighing 125 pounds...URSULA! AREANO!!
Ursula enters the ring and walks over to the ropes, standing on the bottom rope and bending over to smile at the fans in the first few rows. She then gets off the ropes and walks to one side of the ring and waits for the officials to start the match.
Baz: I likes this big lass. Should be a good scrap 'ere between 'er and the Champion.
Kerry: I don't know, darling. That much muscle on a woman is just...unbecoming. Trust me, I know – there were these girls at my previous company, and they were absolute darlings, but I always thought---
Before Kerry can finish whatever wise insight she had to give on the female body, “Riot” hits the arena, prompting Sky to slowly walk out before the crowd. She flips the hood of her hoodie down and takes slow, deliberate steps to the ring with, her eyes cold and somewhat distant.
Katherine Kensington: And her opponent, from Sydney, Australia, weighing 129 pounds...she is the UKWF Champion...SKYLYNN! REED!
Upon reaching the ring, Sky unzips her hoodie and tosses it to the crowd then slides into the ring, quickly rising to her feet. Without any further fanfare, she backs into a corner and awaits the bell.
Baz: Wicked! The Champ is 'ere!
Kerry: Don't say that, darling. It reminds me of what happened to poor Sterling...
A woeful sigh is heard from the female announcer, as the two contestants gain the centre of the mat and shake hands, to a rousing reaction from the fans. Then, as the referee gives the sign to begin, the two lock up and begin jockeying for position!
Baz: 'Ere we go, Kerr!
The tie-up goes on for several moments, with the taller yet slender Skylynn not quite able to gain advantage over the more muscular Ursula, or vice-versa. The fans go absolutely wild for the evenly-matched nature of this initial locking of horns, and respond with a rousing cheer when Ursula is finally able to go behind and throw Skylynn over with a suplex! The Champion hits the mat hard, but is back on her feet within moments, and rushing at her opponent! Ursula connects with a flying forearm, then rolls forward onto her feet, to a big ovation from the fans! She holds her arm up to the stands, but has no time to stall, as Skylynn is quickly back on offence! Ursula sidesteps the running single-leg dropkick attempt, then counters it into a jumping neckbreaker! Sky goes down harder than before, and Ursula finally has a few moments to recompose herself!
Baz: Blimey! The big lass ent messin' about, is she?
As the fans' ovation rises in pitch, both women make their way back to their feet. Sky gives Ursula a scorching look, but the Argentinian is not intimidated, and instead calls for a test of strength. Skylynn nods and steps forward, accepting the challenge. The two lock hands in the traditional position, and once again begin to measure power levels against one another.
Kerry: Oh, dear...that was almost mildly exciting for a moment there...
The fans, however, don't seem to entirely agree with the announcer, as the two women's test of strength has them on edge. Much like the tie-up from a few moments before, it is ridiculously even for a long moment, with neither woman being able to break through the other's resistance. At points, it seems as though Skylynn may be about to gain advantage, or Ursula; in the end, however, the two revert back to their initial point, forced to start over by their opponent's efforts.
As such, it is no surprise that the arena explodes again as Ursula breaks through and manages to land a kick to Skylynn's midsection! The Champion doubles over, and Ursula capitalises with a float-over DDT, which takes Skylynn down! The Argentinian is once again graced with a big cheer from the crowd, and this time, takes a moment longer to acknowledge it. She then looks towards the turnbuckle, pointing at it as if asking the crowd if she should. Judging by the reaction from The Cockpit's stands, she absolutely should – and, a moment later, she does!
Baz: Big Lass is goin' up top!
Ursula does, indeed, begin to climb the turnbuckle. However, she never makes it to the top – before she can ascend all the way, a recovered Skylynn comes running from behind, leaps onto the second turnbuckle, and throws Ursula off with a second-rope suplex!
Baz: Cor! Did ya see that, Kerr? Slim little lass like that...!
As Ursula and Sky both hit the mat hard, it appears the Champion may finally have the advantage. She hoists herself up to her feet, with some help from the ropes, then immediately turns around as she feels Ursula clambering to a vertical position herself. The Argentinian barely has time to recover before she is being hit with a springboard diving forearm smash from the Champion!
Baz: That's got ter 'urt!
Skylynn rolls through to her feet quickly and turns around, just in time to catch Ursula getting to her own. This time, the single-leg dropkick connects, and Ursula goes back down! Skylynn is once again quick getting to her feet after the move, and takes to the turnbuckle herself. As such, when Ursula gets to a vertical position, the Champ is waiting with a splash!
Baz: Oof!
Skylynn covers!
ONE!
TWO--
--KICKOUT!
Skylynn's expression indicates she was not expecting the match to end so soon, or with that sort of move. She picks up Ursula Areano and delivers a crisp side belly-to-belly suplex, leading to another cover!
ONE!
TWO--
--Another kickout from Areano!
Baz: This is getting good 'ere, eh, Kerr?
Kerry: Almost, darling. Almost.
Skylynn once again brings Ursula to her feet, this time throwing her towards the far set of ropes. As the Argentinian bounces off, Sky aims for another running dropkick...
...but Ursula dodges!!!
It is Skylynn's turn to connect with the ropes, and it is all she can do to rebound off them. As she picks up momentum, she appears to be running right into a big boot from Ursula Areano...
...but she catches it, and reverses it into a dragon screw leg whip!
The crowd are going absolutely wild as the two women once again take a moment to regroup. Duelling chants of 'YOU GIRLS ROCK' and 'THIS IS AWESOME' emanate from the stands, and bring a smile to either woman's features as they once again hurtle at each other!
This time, Ursula tries to grab Skylynn in a suplex, only for the Champion to leapfrog it. Ursula bounces off the ropes, and Skylynn gives chase...only to get thrown to the outside with a huge back body drop! Not wasting another second, Ursula takes a step back, allowing Skylynn to hit the concrete floor before vaulting over the top rope with a suicide dive! It connects flush, and Skylynn is driven down to the floor!
Baz: BLOOMIN' 'ECK!
The chants for the two ladies intensify as both lie on the floor outside, regaining their bearings after the impacting and dangerous manoeuvre. Inside the squared circle, the referee begins his count.

Skylynn totters towards the apron, slams her hands down on it, hoists herself up...
...and rolls in!

Baz: Cor blimey, that was a close'un!
The Cockpit goes absolutely nuts as the referee signals that Skylynn made it back on time, and the match continues. A fresh new batch of chants erupts from the stands.
'WHAT A MATCH! WHAT A MATCH!'
'THANK YOU LADIES! Clapclap clapclap clap'
The two contestants, however, are arguably too exhausted to even acknowledge the praise. Both Ursula and Skylynn take a long moment to simply lie on the mat, catching their breath and regaining their bearings as they prepare to once again go at one another.
Eventually, both find their way back to their feet, but still they take a moment to rest before resuming the action. The referee takes this time to check with each woman whether she feels all right to continue, a question which is met with an affirmative answer from either contestant. This once again draws a huge ovation from the crowd in attendance, one which both Sky and Ursula acknowledge this time around. Then, for the third time that evening, the two tie up!
This lock up is no different than the other two, as the two women jockey for position for a long moment, with neither gaining advantage. They both now seem to be feeling the effects of their gruelling bout, and maybe that is what allows Skylynn to gain the advantage this time around, breaking through Ursula's defences to land a leg kick. As Ursula flinches, she hits another, then another, finishing with a hard chest kick that sends the Argentinian stumbling back into the ropes. Sky seeks to capitalise with a running clothesline, but Ursula quickly leaps onto the top rope and takes the Champion down with a headscissors! Sky goes sprawling to the mat, and Ursula lets her momentum carry her forward onto the opposite ropes. She springboards onto the top rope and – when Skylynn gives chase, hits her with a tornado DDT! The two women fall to the mat, and Ursula covers!
ONE!
TWO!
..Sky kicks out!
Though visibly frustrated, Ursula rolls off the top of her opponent and patiently waits for her to return to her feet. All the while, she makes her right hand into a fist, which she pulls back, ready to spring into action the minute Skylynn turns around. When that happens, after another moment, Ursula leaps forward with a Fist of Fury...
...that Skylynn somehow dodges!
The crowd goes wild as Skylynn leaps onto Ursula, looking to apply a dragon sleeper hold, then cheer even louder as the Argentinian sits down, breaking the young Champion's concentration as well as her attempted hold!
Baz: Wha' a match, Kerr! Wha' a match!
Kerry: Yes...I must admit, it is not bad! We must be close to the time limit though, mustn't we?
Baz: 'oo gives a toss? Let 'em keep goin' all night if they 'ave ter!
Kerry: UKWF's very first match finished right at the time limit...will that be the case for this one as well?
As Kerry speculates, Ursula has brought Skylynn to her feet and draped her over her shoulders, looking for the Argentine cutter she calls Tempest Turn! She prepares to swing Skylynn...
...but the Champion evades! Ursula turns around quickly...but gets nailed with a superkick by Skylynn! The Bank Shot connects, and a cover ensues!
ONE!
TWO!
THRE---NO!!!! LAST SECOND KICKOUT!
Baz: Bloody 'ELL, was that close!
Skylynn seems to have a hard time believing it, too, if the expression on her face is any indication. Still, there is nothing to it – the referee indicates it was only a two-count, and the match continues!
Still steaming from the false finish, Skylynn picks Ursula up and nonchalantly throws her against the nearest turnbuckle! The groggy Argentinian bounces off and drops to the mat, and the UKWF Champion looks towards the turnbuckle, a resolute expression on her features.
Baz: I thinks she wants ter end this!
The crowd in attendance senses it too, and gives Skylynn a huge cheer as she begins to ascend the turnbuckle! She reaches the top, turns around...
...and gets pulled off by the leg!!
Baz: Wha' the...?!
Kerry: STERLING! It's STERLING EVERETT!
Baz: An' 'e 'as a chair...?!
Indeed he does – and he promptly wraps it around Skylynn's skull, sending her hurtling down to the mat! The fans shower the Brum Bruiser with boos as the referee calls for the bell, signalling a disqualification! Even Katherine sounds forlorn as she announces
Katherine Kensington: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match, as the result of a disqualification...the UKWF Champion...Skylynn Reed!
WINNER by Disqualification in 22:43: Skylynn ReedThe prim youngster is barely audible, however, above the deafening boos for Sterling. Oblivious – or perhaps immune – to this, the Brum Bruiser raises the chair once again, preparing to exact even more punishment on Skylynn...
...only to be intercepted by a livid Ursula Areano!
Baz: Right on, gel!
The crowd cheer raucously as the two contenders stare each other down...
...before resuming their booing as Ursula, too, gets taken out with a chair!
Baz: Oi! That's just not on!
Kerry: There is only so much a man can take, Barry darling...and Sterling-dear has reached that boiling point!
Indeed, that appears to be the case, as the Brum Bruiser now indiscriminately punishes either Main Event participant with chair shots. He whacks Ursula and Skylynn in turn until he has had his fill, then prepares to make his way backstage once again...
...and this is where he runs into another obstacle, in the form of UKWF General Manager Johnny Ajax!
Baz: It's the gaffer!
Johnny, visibly livid, brings a microphone to his lips to berate Sterling...
...only for the latter to aim a chair shot at Ajax's weakened knee, bringing him to the floor grimacing in pain!
Baz: OI!
A mortified Katherine comes running to check on her husband, gracing Sterling with a glower but not daring to engage him directly for fear of getting laid out herself. The Brum Bruiser is therefore free to make his way to the entrance curtain, where he stands making belt gestures at no one in particular, amid the deafening boos of the crowd at The Cockpit.
