Blank song fills the arena as the lights dim and a single light shines on the entrance and a figure wearing a hooded coat and a wolf skull mask stands still as the lights strobe he looks up an intense stare at the ring as the crowd as a mixed reaction for the man.
Announcer: Coming to the ring from New Orleans LA, The Mask of Death, The man who brings us El Muertos Style, The warrior from afar the one and only Tyr Muertos…..!!!!!
As his name is announced Tyr crouches and spreads his arms in a very Animalistic form before standing and pushing back the hood and mask revealing the war painted face below as he starts to walk down to the ring stalking slowly methodically as he slides under the ropes and into the middle of the ring where he crouches on one knee staring at his opponent waiting for the match to start.
BackGround
The man now known as Tyr Muertos was actually born in Ireland and was a troublemaker from the moment he was born. He spent his childhood learning to hunt and take care of himself when he wasn’t spending time with the local police. After getting into a little more trouble than he could handle Tyr left Ireland and moved to Mexico where trouble just seemed to follow him. Running with some men who were less than reputable Tyr soon found a home at the bottom of a bottle which lead him to a Mexican Prison.
Let’s just say 6 months in a mexican prison changes a man and when you meet someone like Muerte del cielo you learn to change your life. From that moment on Tyr became Tyr Muertos and he finally found his calling in Lucha Libre wrestling. Spending 2006 to 2012 training and wrestling in different federations throughout Mexico Tyr honed his skill before deciding to learn more by moving to Japan where he joined APJW and quickly rose through the ranks. Winning tag team gold with a man just known as Jun, the two became friends until one day Jun betrayed Tyr and a rivalry to end all rivalries began. The two men would battle many times over the years including for the APJW championship a title that Tyr would hold for over year. Tyr would find a friend in Rowen Kito and when she left APJW he seemed to lose his taste for Japan and soon followed leaving Japan and heading to the United States.
