The scene opens inside the kitchen of Lowri's home. Lowri - who is wearing a pair of pale blue jeans and a white t-shirt - is stood at the sink, pouring a glass of water.
After turning off the tap, Lowri turns to face the camera.
‘In nine days, at Winds of Change, I’ll be in the main event, in a match against Gaia Galanos. I’ve seen this match described as my biggest challenge, and I’m not going to disagree with that. However, I believe that it’s a challenge I can overcome, and that I can defeat Gaia, to record my most impressive win in the UKWF so far.’
Lowri pauses to take a sip of water.
‘After a night of heavy drinking on Friday, I’m sticking to water this weekend.’
She drinks some more water, before walking over to a table.
‘It’s over a month since I first had my eyes on getting to set foot in the ring with Gaia. Back then, I had my sights on challenging her and Night Train Ayano for the tag titles, and while the events of Challenge of Champions prevented that from happening, I’m satisfied to now have the chance to test myself against Gaia in a one-on-one match; she might’ve been the one to ask for this particular match, but I’m glad to have the opportunity, in a match against one of the UKWF’s best, to show everyone - Gaia included - exactly what I’m capable of.’
Lowri puts her glass on the table. She then takes a seat.
‘Looking at the tale of the tape, everything appears to be in Gaia’s favour: height, weight, experience - she seems to have the advantage in every department. On paper, Gaia looks to have this contest won convincingly. But we aren’t doing battle on paper - we’re going to clash inside a ring, and in that ring, anything can happen, including me beating Gaia. I may not be able to match her when it comes to things like strength, but I possess other attributes that can’t be measured in units, such as heart and desire, and it’s those intangibles that can carry me to a win against Gaia.’
Lowri smiles.
‘By the way, Gaia, commiserations on your loss last night. I had hoped that you would go all the way in the Young Guns Cup - as a representative of the UKWF, it would’ve been a good thing for the promotion if you had been the one to lift the trophy. Plus, it would’ve been a nice feather in my cap for me to hold a victory over the winner of this year’s Young Guns Cup.’
Lowri winks.
‘Have you already turned your attention towards another prize, Gaia - the United Kingdom Championship, perhaps?’
She shrugs.
‘I don’t mind sharing what I’m focused on: defeating you.’
Lowri’s smile widens.
‘Nos da, Gaia, a breuddwydion melys.’
Lowri lifts her glass off the table, and as she takes another drink, the scene fades to black.

"It's such a crying shame," came Gaia Galanos' elegant Greek accent. She was seated alone, dressed as though she were prepared to fight. With her eyes averted, she continued, “you put on such a wonderful show in the Broadcast Battle Royal, Lowri.” Gaia shook her head slowly as if she were disappointed. “Truth is, you should have just ignored the false confidence those stunts had filled you with. No,” she said, followed by an echo, “no, you had a puffed out chest just because those sheep out there bothered to cheer you on. They chanted your name so you decided you’d poke the Lioness.”
“Lowri, I don’t dislike you. Every night you’re out in that ring, you put on a clinic. You’re a natural,” Gaia admitted, fairly. “But, you aren’t The Natural. If you ask anyone in the locker room who the best pure wrestler in this company is, they will tell you to look no further because I am the personification of this sport. I quite literally, unlike Juliet Black, can claim to be the Queen of Wrestling. When it comes to accolades, I am second-to-none here,” she stated, then added, “ask your boss. Stella is very familiar with how much of a bad ass I am in that ring. Our Tag Team Champions have been given all they can handle in the past. Are you really sure you know what you’re doing,” she inquired.
Gaia paused for a long moment to allow the question to settle in with her eyes still averted. “Lowri,” she began once more, “there’s a reason I executed Night Train at New Year’s Evolution, and if I would do something like that to my tag team partner,” Gaia pointed out slowly, methodically, “riddle me this, díkaii kyría, what is it you think I would be willing to do to you?” Suddenly, Gaia’s ice-cold gaze was on the camera’s lens. “This isn’t a game, Lowri. This is a fight, and you haven’t quite experienced that yet. At Winds of Change, you are going to find yourself in the most hazardous crash course you could have stumbled upon.” As Gaia spoke a smirk slowly began to crack across her features. “And, the most amusing part about all this,” Gaia mused before pausing momentarily, “you brought all of this upon yourself. Believe you me, I am going to lock you in the Galanos Clutch and break you. I won’t let go until you realize there is only one way out of that hold: tap. You can make all of the pain go away by just realizing that while you’re one of the brightest stars UKWF has to offer,” Gaia acknowledged, “you just aren’t good enough to hang with me.” Without another word, The Lioness stood up, glanced back at the camera and shook her head in disappointment before walking on, leaving the camera still running, leaving us looking at an empty room with the light on. Then, darkness.

An ice-cold glaze pierces the lens of the camera. Upon panning out, we discover these eyes belong to Gaia Galanos. Her pupils flick left then right, inspecting the form of the two men before her. As she lowers her stance, her opponents begin circling her. One of the two men backs up and holds the ring ropes as he looks on, attempting to find a chink in her proverbially armor. Gaia turns her attention to the man leaning against the ropes, leaving herself open to attack from the other men. Or so we think. As he rushes in, he finds himself on the receiving end of a vicious forearm shot that staggers him, the first man sees this as his opening, but finds only the hard top of Gaia’s foot as she catches him with a sickening roundhouse kick, dropping him to the mat face first. The second man tries to get back at Gaia despite the sick forearm. Unfortunately, he runs right into a low sidekick to the gut, allowing Galanos the time to run the ropes. On her rebound, she catches the double-over guy in the temple with the Seismós Strike. Gaia pounces seamlessly into locking the Galanos Clutch on her prey causing him to shriek in agony. It’s clear that he’s attempting to tap out, but can’t due to the way his body is bent. A trainer rushes into the ring and pulls Gaia off. She rolls away and out of the ring, walking towards the camera with that stone-cold gaze locked on the lens. “See, Lowri,” she roars, “that’s exactly what you have gotten yourself into. You should have listened to Kensington. As I’ve already said, this isn’t a game. Each win or loss makes or breaks us. Knowing that, you have given yourself a purpose,” Gaia pauses suspensefully, “but I don’t think you’re going to enjoy it much.” “I am very aware that you’re feeling confident after your showing in the Broadcast Battle Royal,” The Lioness points out while nodding slowly, “but that high you’re experiencing is going to come to a very unfortunate and abrupt end once you step into the ring and realize for what you’ve volunteered yourself.” The look in her eyes silently describe a dangerous hunger. “Believe me, Lowri, until you enter my ring, you hold onto that high, but once that bell rings and you’re squaring off against, you’ll feel that sinking feeling; that feeling that tells you that you shouldn’t be here.” Galanos presents the two men still rolling around in pain within the ring. “Lowri, if I can do that to two full grown ‘tough guys,’ what do you think I can do to you? Try not to think about that too much as you wait for the Winds of Change on Tuesday Night.” Gaia walks off, leaving us looking at her downed opponents before the feed fades to black.

The scene opens to show Lowri stood in Roath Park, in Cardiff. She is wearing a pair of dark blue jeans and a green parka, with the hood up.
Lowri exhales, before then speaking.
‘Winds of Change draws ever nearer, and so too does my match against Gaia Galanos.’
Lowri smiles at that statement.
‘Whatever you might think of me, Gaia, I can promise you this match won’t be quite so one-sided as your beat down of Night Train was last Tuesday - you won’t have everything your own way. One crucial difference is that while your now-former tag team partner wasn’t expecting your attack, when I’m stood across the ring from you, I’ll be prepared for what’s about to happen.’
Lowri pauses briefly, before continuing.
‘This may be my biggest challenge to date, but I’m also going to be better prepared for this match than I’ve been for any of the other ones so far in my career. Having quit my day job, I’ve been able to spend most of the past week training and studying you, Gaia, and there’s still several days left for me to continue my preparations. I’m sure you will have been preparing for me too, but while you’ve been off elsewhere, competing in other matches, against other opponents, my attention has been solely on this match with you.’
Lowri points towards the camera, as if pointing directly at Gaia.
‘I’m not frightened, Gaia, by the thought you could bloody me up, like you did Night Train. You can be an intimidating presence to some, but the prospect of being in the ring with you doesn’t scare me. No, in fact, I’m relishing it; I’m looking forward to going move for move with you, hold for hold, and ultimately, trying to emerge triumphant. I know you can inflict punishment upon me that could leave me with some new scars, but I’m not about to cower away from you because of that; if you get your pound of flesh, then so be it - as long as I get the win, I can live with that.’
Lowri takes three steps forward.
‘Whenever I set foot in the ring, I’m not afraid of losing. After all, no-one wins all the time. However, I don’t want to be a wrestler that makes a habit of receiving praise for performing commendably in defeat. Everyone that’s going to be there for the show next Tuesday will probably expect Gaia to beat me, but I don’t want to be in a situation where afterwards pundits say, “Lowri lost, but she impressed people with her performance” - I won’t be content with that. Right now, I’ll only be content with one thing: being victorious.’
Lowri pulls her hood down.
‘At Winds of Change, I’ll show everyone just how good Lowri Moss really is. If you don’t believe in me yet, you all will soon - and that includes you, Gaia.’
With Lowri stood staring towards the camera, the scene fades to black.
