There's an audible jeer as Jake Sullivan heads out from the back looking completely in the zone and focused as he heads down the ramp staring straight towards the ring. He heads past the abusive fans, ignoring their taunts and gestures, before rolling under the ring and heading over to his corner to await his opponent.

Not concerned with appeasing the crowd, often shunning the zeitgeist. Outspoken and confident. Reliable in a team, Jake puts winning above anything else, even his own ego. Fans rarely like him though occasionally respect him, particularly the purists, but his negative demeanour and ruthless approach means he'll never be a popular man on the roster. Biography (extended background on your character): Jake Sullivan, like many young men and women, grew up wanting to be a professional wrestler. When he left school he set out to fulfill his dreams and began training at the Avon Wrestling Academy, working small shows in the South West of England. He showed a great deal of promise and potential, attracting the attention of many promoters and media outlets. In 2006 the Daily Mail named him Number 2 on their annual list of 'Young Wrestlers to Watch' for the forthcoming year. However, just as things were beginning to take off the then 18 year old Jake became an unexpected Father. The British Independent scene was a shadow of what it is today and a financially rewarding career was far from guaranteed. Needing to do right by his family, Jake put his dreams on hold to provide for his daughter and wife, wrestling the occasional small show whilst working full time in various capacities. Ten years later he picked up on where he left off, officially graduating from the Avon Wrestling Academy and onto their parent fed, South West Wrestling Federation. After a spell as Cruiserweight champion he was granted a release from his contract after a dispute over bookings and a 'persistent lack of sportsmanship'. Subsequently he headed to America seeking work as an independent wrestler. Success, however, came quicker than anticipated when he was crowned the inaugural FAW Hardcore champion in December 2016
