The sun is rising but Alex Kincaid has been up for hours. Inside a sparring ring at the Llewellyn House wrestling school in Calgary he keeps a breakneck pace. With UKWF cameras at ringside, he snaps into the rope and comes flying at his training partner with a shoulder tackle. His partner tries to scramble away and make distance, but Kincaid is already on him. He meets him with an easy armdrag, His partner rolls to the outside and Kincaid hits the opposite ropes, stopping when he sees the camera is on.
“What? What do you guys want? What do you want me to say, huh?!”
He’s frustrated, and his partner senses his frustration. He walks offscreen and Kincaid glares off screen at him. He rolls under the bottom rope to the floor and takes a deep breath, composing himself.
“In front of my wife, Cross. In front of my wife. I told her that this would be different. That I’d just treat this like a sport and I wouldn’t get myself involved in...things like this. Because, sooner or later, someone always takes it too far. And then I find myself doing what I’ve been doing all week. Obsessing. Working as hard as I can because if I’m not doing something to build towards the fight with you I can’t even think straight.”
Alex runs a hand back over his head, wiping some sweaty, stringy brown hair away from his face. His voice bubbles with barely contained rage.
“I won’t make excuses for what happened at Faceoff. I asked her to start managing me again. I asked her to come to ringside with me. And yeah, I tapped. Because a snake is always at its most dangerous when you don’t see it in the grass. But the only thing that hurts more than that hold of yours is knowing it happened in front of her. So what happens now?”
He walks closer to the camera. It’s slow at first, but then he suddenly speeds up and the surprised cameraman noticeably stumbles back. Kincaid looks guilty for a moment and then continues speaking.
“November 27th, when you and I are face to face? I won’t call it revenge. Because it isn’t revenge. It’s justice. It’s karma. Nothing saves a man from karma. No matter what...Ace you have up your sleeve. This isn’t about wrestlers anymore. This is about what I do as a man. What does a man do when his wife sits up at night afraid? When he’s promised to stop the monsters at the gate, but the monsters knocked the gate down and kept coming? He gets up, and he keeps fighting. Because no matter what you do, you don’t get to win.”
He growls out the final words as the camera moves down towards his feet, fading slowly to black on his wrestling boots.
“You. Don’t. Get. To. Win.”

The scene opens in The Club Lounge at McCarran International, Vegas. A boy holding a Kincaid figure appears. Recoba peers up from The Wall Street Journal and looks quizzically at the kid.
“Yes?”
“I won a UKWF competition to meet you! You have to spend time with me!”
Recoba visibly sighs.
“I’m waiting to fly home for Thanksgiving; I don’t have to do a thing…”
“I won the contest!”
Recoba snatches the Fader figure from the child and launches it out of shot. The kid’s face drops as he chases after it.
“Soon it’ll be No Turning Back where Valkyrie and Kincaid will find out what happens when you put Ace Watson and myself in a tag-team...and, spoiler alert, it won’t turn out well for them.”
“How’s the back, Kincaid? How’s the wife? Why make promises you can’t control. Pardon the pun but - did I make you sit up and pay attention to the fact that I’m the new face of professional wrestling.”
“I didn’t start this with you to make a name from you, I did it because you’re mentally weak. You’ve been obsessing about it by your own admission - how you going to focus on the match when you really want to get even? How many times have you replayed it in your head? One, twelve, countless times? Can your wife cope knowing that I get to take you apart and there is nothing she can do to stop it? Does it play on your mind?”
Recoba smiles at the memory.
“The fact you’ve been teamed with Valkyrie should be a signal you’re not going to come out on the better side of this match. You might have left me on the floor after my match but I get it - you want to stay relevant, that’s all, but an alliance with The Great Dane? She’ll still be licking her wounds, probably favoring that leg from the result of our match.”
“One certainty will be that while you’re driven by hate, she is driven by the need to blame her shortcomings on a conspiracy - Valk, you’re not Alex Jones, this isn’t InfoWars, but here are the facts - you’re just not that great. I ate that German Suplex and still came through, you? Even with an incompetent ref, you couldn’t put me away. For all your talk of coming out on top what happened? Do you think your leg will hold up? How much of your base power have you lost?”
“What really doesn’t play well for you, Scooby, is that you couldn’t take me alone when you add in my partner, a man who seems to have endless stamina, who can match your power and still be quicker than you. There’s a reason Stella gets behind people like us - we have a huge upside, you? You’re a C+ player at best!”
The scene fades as the kid walks into shot with the Kincaid toy broken in two

Post by Ace Watson on Nov 26, 2016 0:34:55 GMT
Ace Watson walks through the halls of a manor somewhere in England. The style and architecture giving away the location. He walks into a large open room which may have served as a dining hall once but now was being used for a high class photoshoot with Bianca Davis.
Ace admired the view for a moment as the camera flashed. Then he sat down on a chair, facing our camera.
“For those of you who don't know, my name is Ace Watson, and this is day 162 of my never ending VoW Zero Gravity Championship reign. While the company may be gone, it’s legacy lives through me.”
“Now, legacy means a lot to me. It's what I wrestle for. I fight to put my name in the history books, and I do so by winning matches and by winning championships. My name will forever be in VoW’s archives, but now I look to put my mark on UKWF. I've had my eyes on this company for a while, and I think it had it’s eyes on me too.”
“I was hired by Stella Chalmers-Blythe to make UKWF better, and to expand my legacy. But I have plans for more.”
He nods softly and smirks.
“Those plans start at No Turning Back. I will team with Cross Recoba to take on Valkyrie and Kincaid, now Cross has wins over them both, whereas I've never faced either... But trust me, I'm very aware of their work.”
Ace stands and starts slowly walking across the room, the camera keeping Bianca in the background.
“Kincaid and I both wrestled for VoW. Well, I wrestled there, and he occasionally showed up. So I've seen what he can do, and I know of his weaknesses. I know of his bad knees and I know how to make them even worse.”
“And Valkyrie, it was a few months ago when I first found out about her. She criticised my girlfriend, “The Queen B” Bianca Davis, the stunning woman you see behind me. This lead to me doing some investigating. What I found was that she relies on two things, her temper and her height.”
“If you followed her on twitter for more than five minutes you would know how tall she is. She loves to point it out. It's even referenced in her nickname. But Valkyrie, what you need to know is I've beaten people taller than you, I know how to fight against someone who has a height advantage over me. I've done it before and I'll do it again.”
“And this temper, this rage. It serves me more than it serves you. I've made my living for a long time getting under people's skin. I know how to pull people's strings, and I know how to take advantage when they let their anger take over. It's what I do.”
“At No Turning Back, you'll all find out that I'm not just up anyone's sleeve, I'm the whole damn hand.”

A cassette tape, sent in with a Dictaphone. No video, just Valkyrie, on classic audio.
“Turnaround is fair play. I have a unique position in the UKWF world right now in that not only have I been part of Stella's Assembly of Kusse, and lets face it, there isn't a single person in that group who isn't suffering a chronic case of being a Kusse, to which the only known cure is death. But me and the Big Guy I'm teaming with get to take on a Kusse who I spoke out against his kusse and he got a little bit butthurt that I said that about her, and a Kusse who thinks that two wins, both of them against myself and Kincaid in singles matches makes him the Allfather's gift to wrestling.”
“I've got a few spoilers. Bianca is still a Class One Kusse who is a disgrace to wrestling, and Cross, when you have a win streak of 12 months in a single company that means dick elsewhere and a career that has gone on longer than a New York Minute, then you can talk shit about peoples talents. I'm really not in the fucking mood for your cliché bullshit that boils down to all about who's dick is hanging off the fucking ruler.”
“In all honesty, you remind me of the Dwarves who murdered Kvasir. Fjalar and Galar. They killed him and poured his blood into two vats and a pot called Boðn, Són and Óðrerir. They mixed his blood with honey, thus creating a mead which made anybody who drank it a poet or scholar. Didn't end that well for them as they invited a giant, Gilling, and his wife. They took him to sea and capsized their boat and the giant drowned. The dwarves then came back home and broke the news to Gilling's wife, which plunged her deep in grief. Fjallar proposed showing her the place where her husband had drowned but Gallar got tired of her weeping, went before her and dropped a millstone on her head when she crossed the threshold.”
“When Gilling's son, Suttungr, learned what had happened, he went to the dwarves and led them to a reef which was covered with water at high tide. The dwarves implored him and offered him the mead in compensation for his father's death. Suttungr agreed.”
“Now before you go asking yourselves is their a point to all this, it's a warning of what is coming. When my ancestors came to England and were accused of smuggling, they came back and caused a fuckload of chaos for a few centuries after, and although I'm nowhere near to being a Giant, I'm coming to throw your world into shit. Kincaid might have his code of ethics, but me, I'm willing to think like the rats of New Management and use the loopholes and bend the rules where necessary. For the Allfather Motherfuckers!”
And the tape cut off...
