Favorite hockey team: I know nothing about hockey. We played shinty at school. It's like hockey but on mud instead of ice, and it's okay to hit each others' legs with the sticks. If you got too injured to play, Mrs. Crawford from primary 5 would yell at you for being a wimp for the rest of the day.
Favorite basketball team: Basketball is a team sport?!
Favorite American football team: ...the Scottish Claymores? For real though, I DID go see them play at Hampden like, twice back in the '90s when the weird Euro league was a new thing. They actually won both times too, first against the London Monarchs (apparently the rest of England wasn't good enough to be part of that team?), and then against Frankfurt Galaxy for the...World Bowl? I forgot what they called it, but I remember the trophy being both huge and so full of shiny-ass crystal I got blinded from the glare off it even when I was like 50 feet away from the thing. Good memories! Also my friend's dog ate my foam finger afterwards and had to go to the vet.

Favorite soccer (football to some of y'all) teams: Whoever had the coolest shirts. At various points that was Man United, Raith Rovers, Celtic (only in the luminous 'bumblebee' away kit) and Ajax.
Favorite Formula One teams: Whoever is most likely to make Schumacher lose.
