Favorite hockey team: Philadelphia Flyers
Favorite basketball team: Philadelphia 76ers and Oklahoma City Thunder
Favorite American football team: Philadelphia Eagles
Favorite baseball team: Philadelphia Phillies
Favorite soccer (football to some of y'all) teams: Philadelphia Union (mls) and I should have a favorite English Premiere League team for Arabella to root for
Favorite Formula One teams: Haas F1 (I also like their sister team, Stewart-Hass Racing), McLaren-Honda, Red Bull

Pittsburgh Penguins (even tho I don't watch it, I follow the team on the ESPN App)

Boston Celtics
Favorite American Football Team:
New England Patriots

Boston Red Sox (although this is my favorite sport, so I tend to follow every team and analize every single thing that happens)

It depends country to country, main ones: England: Man City, France: PSG, Spain: Anyone but Real, Netherlands: PSV, Italy: Juventus, Germany: Bayern Munchen, USA: Galaxy, Mexico: Anyone but América, Brazil: Corinthians, Puerto Rico: Puerto Rico FC (I have to)

Traditionally, yes but there is a lot of overlap these days. For example, lots of kids in east will pass up the Hammers for Arsenal or whatever, and the only people living in southwest are Arab sheikhs or Russian oligarchs. Favorite hockey team: Anaheim Ducks, because 'Disney'. I don't follow it, though.
Favorite basketball team: Chicago Bulls, because 'Jordan' (and also 'Pippen'.) But I haven't followed the NBA since then, either.
Favorite American football team: What's an American football?
Favorite baseball team: I have a New York Yankees cap, does that make me a fan of theirs?
Favorite soccer (football to some of y'all) teams:
- Sporting CP (Portuguese league / home team)
- Man Utd (Premiership - because 'Class of '92')
- FC Barcelona (La Liga - because of that one team full of Dutch players that was amazing, and also because 'Ronaldinho' and 'Eto'o.').
'Fuck forever' list: Benfica, Chelsea, Real Madrid.
Favorite Formula One teams: Haven't watched in years (again), but used to be Williams, because I tend to root for underdogs.

I don't know if this is an all-around Australian thing or just a far-north thing but I tend to get confused when people say "football" because up here that could mean Gridiron (American football for those who don't know), Rugby League, Rugby Union, or AFL. Or if there are brits saying it, they're likely talking about soccer.

I meant soccer, but I'm aware there's a variant down under which involves people turning each other inside out and kicking each other in the head, like in Rugby, and that they also call it football.
