On the outside I assure everyone that loss didn’t matter. That I am aware that I need more time in the gym. That I will bounce back. Juliet was something else and something similar. A monster. Blood hungry. Vicious. Something eerily familiar from so many of my opponents that it has become nearly normal. I thought I could handle it with ease but failed. I assure them that is it okay... 

Inside my head is a complete mess. That norm of monstrous tactics are something that give me flashes of how I used to be. That… side of myself that I never knew was there. How she used to tear through HKW, bloody and wild, with rage. That isn’t me. It can never be… No parent could be proud of that… I have to keep myself in line for my father. I can’t let myself ever slip into that no matter how often the temptation springs... 

I’m better than being caught so guard by a loss… I am better than letting it weigh me down. So now I have been forcing myself through hours and hours at the gym. I force myself to continue even when every movement causes some sort of pain. When my muscles scream even when I soak in a ice bath then I’m proud. It is to improve beyond my sub-par performance… If I want another title then there is little time to be slowing down… 

Right now I am laying on the floor of my hotel room clicking through my Twitter feed. Words for Mark Storm continuous flood back and forth but none of them sound right. We both come from OCW but he seems to have been nearly everywhere since. I see him entering and exiting a company all the time. Can he not find a place to root anymore? Mark never caught my eye, really, in OCW due to all the chaos wrapping me up. He had come in behind a few victories but never seemed to enter into the same ring as myself. I remember glances of his matches. God, I should know more than fleeting moments. 

The AC has frozen the whole room but my body refuses to move aside from my fingers. I’ll need to take a few days off from training or I won’t be able to move during my match against Storm. Right now, I’m not nervous to climb into the ring with him. There’s that urge following around like a shadow… To shred my opponent until they are a bloody mass… No… None of that. I need to knock Mark down, pin him, and nothing more.

“Let’s vent.” 

“Losing sucks… More so when an opponent can’t squarely face you. Ducking behind dirty schemes to avoid any real skill. That is a coward’s game. Yeah, it sucks, especially when you have a particular goal in mind. Doesn’t help when your vision tunnels on one goal and everything in front of you blurs together. Then your body betrays what you know it is capable of without an end. It’s frustrating as hell! It’s a lesson for the next time we have to cross paths, and there is nothing more to do then get over it. Lingering over it won’t get me, ehem, shit. There’s no other way to actually win my next match if I am stuck on my loss so we are shelving that for another time.” 

“That’s the strange thing about wrestling, how to handle learning from past mistakes simultaneously also putting all your focus on the opponent in front of you. In theory it is the easiest thing in the world, but practice is different than that. That’s where we have to admit we’re human. Limits set us apart, even if we don’t want to admit that they are there. I digress a bit…” 

“You see, i’ve never been the type to senselessly slander another person’s name just to get a leg up on them in an upcoming match. It’s a useful tactic, but it is also a crutch. When you expect nothing, you end up on the wrong side of Shining Wizard… Here’s hoping that I won’t have to deal with that in this next match up…. ” 

“Mark storm. I’ve seen his name nearly everywhere under the sun. The first place I saw it? OCW-- Online Championship Wrestling. First big company for me where I was the first woman to ever hold their world title. Now, I know Mark has his own skill set, but I don’t remember him ever… doing much. Am I trying to drag him down? No, but where you go, what you accomplish is all up to you. I see him traveling everywhere, but unless you are accomplishing feats then you are simply moving a lot. Signing your name on a dotted line doesn’t give you anything. I’m not here to just sign my name to say I was in UKWF. I’m here to become the best once again.” 

“Time to make up your mind... Show up, or ship out, Storm.”

He hadn't become the man he wanted to be. And to be honest, he wasn't anywhere near it.

But he was one step closer than he was yesterday. That's one thing you could always rely on with Mark Storm; he'd always be progressing, no matter the circumstance, he'd find a way to elevate himself. He was obsessed with it; wrestling was his addiction and enhancing his game was a necessity. 

"It's simple really, I work on myself everyday - and make sure that I'm learning something knew." He paused, lifting the bar onto the handles and sitting up straight after finishing his bench press exercise. 

The camera fixated on the physique of Storm for a moment; a blend of lean and muscular physique, before diverting its focus to his face, his expressions telling a story. And what story was it telling today? He was calm. Composed and focused. It had been a tough few days for the self proclaimed "Prince of CHAOS" but nevertheless he'd always find his way to serenity, that perfect balance.  

"I've evolved a lot through the years. That's something I pride myself on. I believe that we're all constantly evolving but I just take that extra step, that extra leap, that's going to make the difference. MJ Bell and I, we go way back and I'm talking back in twenty fourteen, when I was still a relative newcomer to this gig. Online Championship Wrestling."

Pausing, he grabbed his towel and wiped his drenched face. "We've never really quite cross paths, she went one way and I went the other, but I remember that she was one of the big time players during my time there. Challenging for titles, competing against the best that roster had to offer.. we'd say our welcomes and goodbyes but there wasn't really much to it beside that. 

But she was always someone I wanted to face. And we've got that chance here in the UK." 

Allowing his words to be digested from the viewers he paused and sat in deep thought, reminiscing on the times he spent at Online Championship Wrestling, smiling over how far he'd come since then. 

"A lot has changed since OCW, Bell. I'm not the same competitor as I was then. I'm better, than I was then. I've become something else entirely over the years; someone who is all over the place, but people are misunderstanding the concept of this global tour I'm embarking on. I've dedicated myself to the idea of becoming a global commodity Bell. You name it, I'm there working my ass off. There's a reason as to why I do all of this. It's because I want to be the best and at the moment, you stand in my way in this quest I've embarked on and no disrespect intended, but I'm going to have to move you out of that path you've been put in. And that will be done by driving my knee, through your damn skull." 

Innocently, he smiled.

"Who's world is this? My father used to tell me that the world, is mine. 

I'm starting to believe that old nutcrack, I'm really starting to believe it. 

Now a lot of things haven't gone my way in this funny game-show we call life. 

But as of late; I've been taking some wins, and playing the game exceptionally well. 

Just as Tyson Turbo, his luck ran out when he faced me then BAM, out the door he went."

"He was noble in battle but it wasn't enough to overcome me but I applaud him for his efforts, he was a warrior strong enough to eventually amount to something in this promotion. I don't know he decided to go on sabbatical, was it because he had a sudden realization that he needed to improve? Did I unknowingly injure him? Who knows. All I know is I'm moving on from that win, to bigger and better things; and MJ Bell, is the opponent I'm moving onto."

"I don't know whether I should be offended, MJ. 

I mean, you pretty much called my a nobody. 

I don't remember us ever having any problems, MJ -

but you think the only reason why I do this;

Why I embarked on this global tour,

signing with promotion after promotion, is to be the best?

That's a huge factor. 

But it's also because I love my job."

"Am I crazy for putting well being and my body on the line every other freakin' day? Of course I am, it's no secret, that I'm crazy. I've said this line a billion times but you know what they say about the crazy ones, MJ; it's the ones who are crazy enough to believe that they can change the world, are the ones that usually do. And I'm crazy enough to believe that by the end of this calender year, I'm going to be at the top of professional wrestling. Be it America, be it Mexico, Japan, and damn right, the United Kingdom. I love my job and I'm willing to sacrifice everything for it. And hell if people don't like that, that's there problem." 

"I know what it's like to lose, MJ. I know that feeling. 

And after some time, the weight get's heavier;

and you begin to question everything you ever knew."

"It's a feeling I wouldn't want anyone to experience but I'm afraid it's something you may have to go through once more when you step into the ring with me. Prepare for the worst, that's what they say, right? And that's what's coming for ya, the worst. I'm one hundred percent committed to this promotion MJ and I'm sick of tired of people questioning my capability and my commitment, when every week, I show up and give it my all."
