[The camera fades in on the backstage area where UKWF's intrepid backstage reporter, and ring announcer, Katherine Kensington is standing with a microphone in her hand.]
KK: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm backstage after the semi final match between the Donovan Twins and the Aus-Am Connection. I'm going to attempt to get an interview with the twins.
[At this moment Liam and Cormac Donovan walk into view, both of them scowling darkly. Behind them is their adopted sister Kiora who looks absolutely livid: her fists are clenched and white knuckled and her eyes are filled with fury. Katherine looks a bit nervous for a moment but as the twins are between her and Kiora, she plucks up the courage to address them.]
KK: Gentleman, a few moments ago you were eliminated....
Liam: WE WERE NOT ELIMINATED!
[Katherine takes a step back but no danger is forthcoming, as Liam manages to get a hold of himself.]
Cormac: This is a travesty of justice, Katherine Kensington!
The pinfall had been broken up by my brother, my shoulders were no longer on the mat. Ergo, I was not pinned regardless of what that ignoramus of a referee says.
The match should've continued!
[Kiora nods in wholehearted agreement, though she doesn't speak. Given that her entire body is tense with rage, it's probably a good thing that Katherine doesn't try to ask her anything.]
Liam: The Aus-Am Connection did everything they could to put us away, but they couldn't get the job done. Everybody in the arena could see that.
If it wasn't for that damn referee they'd never have left the ring with a victory, tainted or otherwise.
Well I hope they enjoy it because the next time they're across the ring from us, things will be different.
Cormac: Of course you realize, this means war!
Kiora: And if that ref doesn't sharpen up, I'll be hunting zebra!
[Naturally Katherine looks shocked by that statement, one hand covering her mouth as the Donovan siblings walk away. A moment or two later, she turns to the camera.]
KK: On that "cheery" note, this is Katherine Kensington signing off.
[Fade to black.]
