We are greeted with a video showing Aurora and Moonlight Master with a black background. Aurora is smirking to the camera, but Moonlight simply stares.
Aurora: Generally I’d give you a generic speech on how Moonlight is big and strong and how she’ll punch the opponent’s eyeballs into their anus, but Gaia isn’t a generic opponent, nor does she deserve a generic speech. No, what she deserves is a reason. Why did someone she trusted, someone she’d call friends betray and humiliate her like that? To answer that we should talk about whom Gaia is. I don’t need to give you another introduction. Fact is every single one of you knows who Gaia is. Even here, in London, where my family grew and trained, I bet there are more people familiar with Gaia than even us. And therein lies the problem. Gaia is someone who makes an impact whenever she goes, quickly rising to the top and hogging the spotlight and she’s been keeping us under her shadow for far too long. In GPW it was all about her, and even when Dawn went to Inferno, she showed up there as well. And now she arrives in UKWF! To our home! To our division! Gaia planned to, once again, clean the floor with all of us and we realized we had to stop her reign of terror before it started again. You’re booing the heroes of this story. And, mind you, this isn’t a case of jealousy. If anything, I’m happy that Gaia got where she did, because it gives Moonlight a chance to prove that, no matter how great Gaia is, Moonlight’s greater. Make no mistake, this match wasn’t just a couple weeks in the making. Gaia was conceived, born and raised for this match! Every match, every training, every title, every win and defeat she went through was just build-up for this single match. At the end of the day it won’t matter if it was Skylynn or Everett to win the title, because when all of us are dead and the grandchildren of our grandchildren rule the world, they will be talking about the day one legend died and another was born. So do tune in, you don’t want to miss the greatest match of the millennia, the match that will create another legend: MOONLIGHT! MURDER-FUCKING-BOSS! And don’t you even dare to censor that. MASTER!
Aurora winked at the camera before leaving the scene, leaving just Moonlight staring at the camera.

“A dream match is finally becoming reality,” explained a female voice with a Mediterranean accent. As the familiar voice continued, the view focused in on Gaia Galanos herself.
“Before GPW folded,” she began, “there was little doubt in my mind that one day I would be staring across the ring at Moonlight Master. She was one of GPW’s fastest rising stars with the longest Valley Championship reign. Given the right opportunities, I wouldn’t rule out her becoming the World Champion.”
“This dream match would have been a contest between two athletes who had respect for one another, but that isn’t the case,” Gaia stated; her voice laced with disappointment. “Moonlight made a choice. It’s clear to me that Moonlight’s actions up until this point were orders from Aurora herself, but Moonlight is a big girl. And, she will answer to me as such.”
“Principle IV of the Nuremberg Principles states: ‘the fact that a person acted pursuant to order of his Government or of a superior does not relieve him from responsibility under international law, provided a moral choice was in fact possible to him’,” Gaia continued gravely.
“In layman’s terms, you cannot say you were just following orders. This has gone beyond that, Moonlight, and you allowed it to become that way when you stood by what your two sisters not only did, but told you to do. You see, Moonlight, while you were one of the fastest rising stars in GPW, I was, beyond the slightest doubt in anyone’s mind, the fastest rising star GPW had ever seen,” The Lioness pointed out with pride flowing from her, but her anger still evident.
“So, now, instead of having a match with someone who I respect, I am going to fight someone who I used to respect,” Gaia said as her eyes narrowed, “and you, Carnival, or Aurora can tell me whatever you want about respect being overrated or whatever you will, but, the fact is, you’ve lost respect in yourself, Moonlight. Why else would you stand and stare like a lost puppy? I know your brain is always running. You’re intelligent,” said the former World Champion, before adding, “to an extent.”
“Tell me, Moonlight, what’s Aurora’s scheme this time,” asked Gaia rhetorically. “World domination? Or is that Carnival? To be honest, I would be surprised if either one of them knew what they really wanted out of life, or even on a smaller scale, this whole idea of starting a war with me; a war which I will finish,” Galanos pointed out matter-of-factly. “Whether by way of me dismantling you or Hunt By Night destroying the Master Sisters, this will come to an end in my favor. And, you know that, don’t you, Moonlight?”
Gaia seemed to stare deep into the lens as if it were Moonlight herself. “Your loyalty to your ill-fated sisters is commendable, but your conviction is lacking because, deep down, you don’t want this match; not like this anyway.”
“But, you’re going to get it.”

Moonlight
Aurora gave a fine speech, as always. Normally I let her do the talking. I’m not that good with words. But this time, when Aurora asked me if I wanted to speak, I couldn’t refuse. I wasn’t happy with the way I got this match, the image of Gaia slowly climbing the ropes after my sisters’ attack was burned into my mind, for a second I had hesitated. All that I had said just a minute before was true, but now it felt like a big lie to trick her. I didn’t try to prove anyone wrong, though, there was no reason for it. I simply did my job, grabbing her and delivering a Master Crush. I may have just lost my dignity and honor for my sisters, but I wanted to be the one to, at least, end the attack. I did all that for my sisters, I know all they want is the best for us, no matter what, and I can understand, although not relate. But what helped me withstand all of this was that maybe, just maybe, it would give me the chance to face Gaia one on one. This match was my chance to prove something to Gaia and to myself. I want Gaia to look up to me just like I did her, I want her to recognize me as a proper opponent and to respect me, because no one else respects me, they just fear me. I want to prove myself that who I am, Murderboss, can be worth something. I want to prove myself I can be as good as the one I idolize. If for that I have to be the devil’s advocate so be it. I do feel like I sold my soul to the Devil, but it might as well do the most out of it. Aurora stopped talking and left me alone with the camera.
Moonlight: G-Gaia, I’ve mentioned b-before we were s-similar, but, honestly, t-that’s a lie. We c-couldn’t be more d-d-different. You’re strong, am-amazing, and charismatic, you e-e-e-emanate respect, you’re a le-leader and everyone else is f-f-following you, trying to th-throw you out of your th-throne, champion or n-not. I’m j-just another follower, a b-bi-big strong follower, but a f-f-f-follower nonetheless. And j-just like many others, I was g-g-given a chance to catch up with you. Something some s-s-succeeded but m-most failed. M-my throne is made of s-st-sticks and paper and is supported by my s-s-s-sisters, the ones who got m-me here. All this t-t-time I was in your s-shadow, but even then I idolized you. Yet you d-d-didn’t even thought about challenging me, you called for C-C-Carnival. Even now, are you s-s-still looking p-past me? I w-want you to n-n-notice me. If I have to r-r-run past you, d-destroy your throne and b-b-build my own out of your r-ruins I will. G-Gaia, I’ve followed you l-l-long enough. This is my m-m-moment of truth n-now. L-look at me! F-fear me! R-respect me! Follow me!

"O, beware, my lord, of jealousy; It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock the meat it feeds on.”
At least one question had been answered. The Master Sisters had targeted me because I had excelled everywhere I had been. Somehow this was a back-handed compliment, but the trust I had in Moonlight and her sisters made the turn sting. Yes, I was angry, but deep inside, I didn’t want this just as much as Moonlight didn’t want this. At least, not like this.
“Let’s get a few things crystal clear before the three of you go off on some sort of tangent,” I began rather dryly, wetting my lips as I paused. “None of this had to happen to make Gaia Galanos versus Moonlight Master happen, but this is what you made it. For whatever reason, you three clearly have no faith in yourselves because it takes three of you to try to tear me down.”
“Fair warning, ladies: I don’t stay down, and I would expect you to know that better than anyone else in UKWF. The way the three of you so easily turned your backs on me was reminiscent of when Valkyrie and Isis sent me a very clear message. Do you remember what happened to them? Valkyrie went on to lose her West Coast Championship then allowed Isis to drag her down into the mud with her. Meanwhile, Harlequin and I sent them into a downward spiral.”
“I am not here to steal anyone’s spotlight, but I am here to be the best at what I do so if I have to send you down that very same spiral to obscurity, Moonlight, so be it,” I stated bluntly, hoping my words would cut deep. “You chose this path just as Valkyrie and Isis did back in GPW.”
“When, not if, that happens, I want you to remember that you were the idiots who wanted to take a trip down memory lane,” I scolded. “I just came here to compete, but you made it personal. And, since we’re taking trips down memory lane, I figured the three of you would love to know that when you hear you’re own hometown crowd chanting my name rather than yours, you will know that,” I paused with a sneer on my lips before adding in a low threatening tone, “this is Sparta.”
