UKWF Moment Of Truth
Venue: York Hall, London, UK
Date: Sunday, May 22, 2016
RP Deadline: Friday, May 20, 2016 23.59PM EST / 6.00AM GMT
Match 1
Storm v Ursula Areano
Time Limit: 10min.
Having missed out on her shot at the UKWF Championship, Ursula Areano looks to bounce back by taking on another athlete being touted for contention. But will the Queen of Lucha be able to weather the Storm?
Match 2
Two Old Bastards v Divas of Dominance (w/Kelly Garrett & Alison Beck)
Time Limit: 10min.
The Divas of Dominance made quite an impact on their debut, when they made their presence known by attacking fellow debutants Two Old Bastards with steel chairs. Now, the boys look to get a measure of revenge on their assailants. Can the girls back up their claims of dominance? Or will Curt and Chris add another win to their tally?
Match 3
Alexander Xael v Kris Halich
Time Limit: 10min.
Match 4
Team PRD v The Best of British
Time Limit: 10min.
Despite having won on their debut, Team PRD were reportedly dissatisfied with the manner of the win, and voiced their displeasure at what they deemed a 'hollow' victory. This caused their opponents, the Best of British, to bristle, and a second round of the same match was promptly made. With Rupert and Nigel still looking for a win, and May and June wanting a conclusive one, a victory in this match could mean a lot for either team!
Match 5
Sophia Halter v Noah Fox
Time Limit: 10min.
Match 6
Tamara Thomas & Blaise Fader v Juliet Black & Hazel Overton
Time Limit: 10min.
After their plan to attack Blaise Fader failed, Juliet Black and Hazel Overton took out their frustrations on the fan favourite – that is, until newcomer and fellow fan favourite Tamara Thomas came down to even the odds! Now, the two impromptu teams face one another, in a match where all four women will no doubt have something to prove!
Main Event
Gaia Galanos (w/Night Train Ayano) v Moonlight Master (w/Aurora Master & Carnival Dawn Master)
Time Limit: 30min.
Blood and Iron saw tensions between Hunt by Night and the Master Sisters continue to run high, after Carnival Dawn and Aurora attempted to get the drop on Gaia Galanos. Their plan was thwarted by Sophia Halter, whose connection to Hunt By Night remains unclear, but who allowed Gaia and Night Train to pick up a win on their debut. The Greek Goddess then went on to issue a challenge to the Master Sisters, for a singles match at the next UKWF event. The Spartan Lioness was looking to face Carnival Dawn, but Aurora instead appointed Moonlight as her opponent instead. Now, the two big women go at one another, in an emotionally charged match that could cause shockwaves across London!
Main Event
(UKWF Championship on the line!)
Sterling Everett v Skylynn Reed (c)
After weeks of indecision, the Moment of Truth has finally come. Champion Skylynn Reed and her Number One Contender - the perpetually dissatisfied Brum Bruiser, Sterling Everett – are finally set to tussle for the ultimate prize: the UKWF Championship! Everett has had his eye on the belt ever since failing to get it at Genesis, and will be motivated to win it after jumping through any number of hoops. The Champion, however, might have a word to say in that regard, and will want to keep her first major reign going past the first defence. Either way, there will be no love lost between these two contenders, in what should be a knock-down, drag-out battle between high-flying and raw power. It is the Moment of Truth, and neither athlete will want to let it slip by!
