These are the coding guidelines for UKWF shows, as of June 2017.
A. Segment Coding
1. Segments should be presented in a JUSTIFIED ALIGNMENT.
2. Coding is limited to the names of people speaking in the segment being coded in RED, like so:
No further coding is necessary - you should not italicise the text or change the font ezcept for things like a poster or a sign, etc. In that case, you can CENTER, BOLD AND ITALICISE the text, like so:
3. If people speak more than once, only their FIRST TIME talking should have their full name. All other bits of dialogue should only have their first name or the name they are best known for. Like so:
B. Match Coding
1. Matches should be presented in a CENTRED ALIGNMENT.
2. Matches should be ITALICIZED, with the exception of the title/header displaying the names of the fighters. Like so:
3. Said header should be BOLDED AND UNDERLINED. Like so:
4. All matches should include a line at the end displaying the name of the winner and the duration of the match. This line should combine BOTH formatting styles seen above. Like so:
5. Any post-match action, INCLUDING EVENTUAL DIALOGUE, should follow the same format as the match action. Like so:
4. A full match should look something like this, coding-wise:
Hopefully, this guide will make it easier for everybody to know what we want from them going forward, and help streamline the look of the shows even further.
Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for your collaboration.
