What is UKWF?
UKWF is an angled roleplaying e-fed. In kayfabe, the company operates from the southern region of the UK, namely around the counties to the south of London. The company operates an independent schedule, putting on small shows which are available for streaming online and on the Battleground Network.
What is the Rping like at UKWF?
As noted above, UKWF is an angled fed. This means RPing is not required, although it is encouraged. Storylines, Championship reigns and overall character progression will be driven by participation, in the form of voluntary RPing, segment submission, match writing, feud and show hype on Twitter and OOC participation via feedback, suggestions and storyline pitches.
How long are show cycles?
Show cycles at UKWF will be bi-weekly. Episodes will be kayfabe-streamed on Wednesday evenings, UK time. Cards will usually go up 1 to 2 days after the show has been posted.
What will results look like?
Results will be presented in the form of extended summaries, with the exception of:
- show intros
- interstitial segments
The above portions of the shows will be presented in fully descriptive format.
How many characters can I run?
To avoid handler hegemony, we are implementing a two character maximum to start with, with a maximum of two singles competitors or one singles competitor and one tag team.
What's not allowed?
The usual stuff - discrimination, catfishing, for-real name calling, plagiarizing, RP recycling, using characters without permission (except enhancement talent/support staff) and drama. Also, feuding with yourself, unless you can convince the Staff that it is a good idea and adds something to the fed as a whole – in which case a one-off exception may be made (but don't push it – no long feuds against yourself!)
Competitive matches/feuds are admissible if both handlers agree on going that route and notify Staff of their intention. Do NOT try to ask for a competitively judged match or feud without your opponent knowing - Staff WILL check with them before agreeing.
Competitive matches will have a 2x 500 word RP limit and will be judged on match relevancy, writing quality and character/storyline progression. Feedback will be available to handlers on request.
Otherwise, this will be a pretty open place, and Staff have a communication-friendly policy – so 'PM before you slam'. Cool? Cool.
